Malzahar Strategy: Positioning, Item Builds & Synergies
Malzahar is a Tier S $5-cost champion in TFT Set 13. With 4 hex attack range and 30/90 mana curve, maximizing their value requires tailored frontline support and Best-in-Slot itemization.
Carry Itemization Priority
Prioritize combining 3 core items early. As demonstrated in the delta matrix above, equipping full Best-in-Slot items dramatically reduces average placement by over 0.35 spots in Grandmaster and Challenger lobbies.
3-Star Upgrades & Pool Economy
Check whether other lobby opponents are holding copies of Malzahar. If uncontested, slow-rolling with 50+ gold interest at optimal levels maximizes your probability of hitting a 3-star power spike.
Key Strategic Takeaways
- Primary itemization should focus on: Vô Cực Kiếm, Cuồng Đao Guinsoo, Huyết Kiếm.
- Synergizes best with Automata, Visionary compositions.
- Pool bag size has exactly 9 copies in the shared game lobby.
- Positioning: Safe backline corner protected from assassins and direct spell line of fire.
